Chic Treat Club October Unboxing

While playing on my phone Wednesday morning, I got the text I always enjoy seeing. The text was from Chic Treat Club's courier to let me know my October box was on the way. See this month I was especially excited because they teamed up with Beauty genius Triona Mc Carthy to support the Tricia Mc Carthy Foundation in association with NBCRI. Chic Treat Club are donating €2 from every box to the  National Beast Cancer Research Institute which I was delighted to hear.

Here are some pics of the unboxing

There was lots of goodies inside......

Starting from the left we have:
  • Roger and Gallet Body Sorbet in Bois d'Orange in a deluxe sample. I adore the brand and have way too much of it but I love this sample, it will definitely come in handy. A full-size costs €15.
  • Pure Derm Botanical Choice Exfoliating Foot Mask (€3.99) I always had a stash of these in the house for giving my feet a treat but then I looked high and low to find them with little success. I'm not 100% sure if these are ok in pregnancy, I remember on another brand it said it wasn't. These won;t go to waste though, come February they'll get used quickly.
  • Yonka Lait Nettoyant Cleansing Milk (€30) was something that made me very happy. I have used this previously and loved it. I'm usually not one for a cleaning milk but love this one.
  • NYX Powder Blush (€7.49) in Summer Peach. My love for NYX knows no bounds with pretty much my whole current makeup routine taken up with them. I already have two blushers and love them so there is no doubt this will be loved too.
  • Wet 'N' Wild Think Pink Mega Last Lipstick (€2.99). I hang my head in shame saying I haven't tried any of the Wet 'N' Wild Lippies before now but I have heard great things about them. On first swatch, I love the colour but also love the texture, they are super soft and apply beautifully.

This month marks the last month of my Chic Treat Club subscription. I still am deciding whether to take out another subscription. I love the boxes arriving on my door step every month. It feels like a nice present to myself.

Have you gotten this month's box or do you plan on subscribing?

August Chic Treat Club Unboxing

Last week, I finally did something I have been planning to do for quite some time now - sign up for a Chic treat Club subscription. I am so excited to have finally done this as I loved the April box.  Today I'm sharing the contents of the August box and will do the same with the remaining two boxes.

I'm still in love with the packaging, it definitely feels like Christmas when this arrives on your door.

 The contents:

BETER Large All Purpose Brush. This beauty is a launch exclusive. When I first saw it I was very excited as I love big brushes like this. They are ideal for bronzer, powder or foundation. BETER will be available in pharmacies from next month so not too much longer to see what else the collection overs. This lovely will retail at €16.99

Montagne Jeunesse Brazilian Mud Fabric Masque. I can't wait to try this as I've never used a cloth face mask before. This one contains acai berries, mud and avocado so sounds quite intriguing. If you're on the lookout for  for a one off facemask this could be the one and it only retails at €1.99

Kubiss London is a range coming to The Cosmetic Outlet website next month. I have heard whispering of the brand but haven't actually tried anything from the range. This Bronzing Face Powder is a bit dark for me but it might be quite good as a contour product and definitely a winner with face tan. It will cost €2 when it launches.
KISS All Over Hydrating Balm Cuticle Care got a very nice welcome. My cuticles can get a bit dry and a bit annoying. I'm always looking for something to help. This is a great size for popping in the handbag. I'm not sure how much it costs but I reckon it's around the €4.

Thalgo Marine Shower Gel (sample worth €1.80) and Soft Hydration Emulsion (sample worth €3.10)  I haven't tried anything from Thalgo before so am excited to try these. I've already started thinking of what toiletries to bring when I'm in having baba so these have been packed away until then.
The overall retail value of this months box is €30.88.A three month subscription cost €44.95 including delivery. A really good price when you consider you get 5 decent sized products. You won't find a teeny sample here. If you are looking to sign up to a beauty box definitely give Chic Treat Club a try, you won't be disappointed.

April Chic Treat Club

A few months ago, I shared the news that Ireland was finally getting a beauty subscription box in the stylish Chic Treat Club.  Since then I have lusted after it,but with the house move, I didn't get around to subscribing.

A lovely surprise came Friday, when I received one from the lovelies who own Chic Treat Club. It actually arrived Thursday but I missed the delivery.Firstly, I am really impressed with the packaging.  Its very cute and stylish, part of me didn't want to open it.

This months goodies include
♡ A Cleanse Off Mitt- I'm really happy to see this because I've wanted one for ages. I was actually planning on ordering one on this week so I'd have it for my holiday.

♡ Paese Blush in a gorgeous vivid pink.Completely the type of colour I steer towards so another win for me.

♡ Janssen Cosmetics Night Repleniser is a new one for me having never heard of the brand but I'm excited to give it a whirl.

♡ CND Vinylux in Sultry Sunset and Vinylux Weekly Top Coat. The polish is pink with shimmer.  Apparently using these two together will give you a perfect manicure for 7 days. I can't wait to try these. I'm really hoping its a winner because it will save me having to get shellac before I head away.

I'll have reviews of everything over the next while. I'm really impressed with this months box and I'm contemplating signing up next month. I'm going to hang onto the cute box for storing some of my beauties.

You can check everything Chic Treat Club out on twitter and Facebook(@ChicTreatClub)
Will you be trying them out or if you've subscribed I'd love to hear feedback.
