Exciting Times Ahead _ Baby Number Two On The Way!

Hi lovelies,

I have a little confession to make. I have been keeping a secret from you. I'm pregnant!!! To be exact I am 13 weeks pregnant.I found out about two weeks after our holiday. We hadn't planned on having another child quite yet but we are over the moon.

I suffered with awful morning sickness on Jack but luckily these 12 weeks have been different.I've been ill but nowhere near as bad. I am extremely tired all the time though. Baby is due the end of February next year. I chose to return to Holles Street as I had such a great experience last time.

This is part of the reason for my lack of blogging, I've had very little motivation to do much of anything but I am pulling my socks up and getting my bum in gear. You will probably see a slight change in the blog. Its still mainly beauty but there will be some baby and child related topics too.

New Fit Flops

I first discovered Fit Flops a few years back when I won a pair in a competition. The instant, I put them on it was love. I wore them all the time. I decided to invest in a new pair so popped over to Beauty Features. I was thrilled to see they had a Fit Flop sale on.

I liked a lot of the shoes on sale but decided on this orange pair as I thought they would go with my blue jeans, black jeans and some of my dresses.

They cost me €54 as I had a discount code.Delivery took two days and was free. I really like Beauty Features as they have a great selection of products and usually have some great discount codes.

As for the shoes, I love them. They are incredibly comfortable. I can see them being a firm favourite.

Getting Lippy With NYX

I've always been a fan of NYX but it was tricky to get here. I resorted to buying online but thankfully this is a thing of the past with the arrival of NYX stands popping up in local pharmacies and stores.

A while back,  I was sent a few products to try out.  Today I'm talking about their Matte lipsticks.

These are the two beauties I received and immediately I fell for their pigmentation.

Both shades are absolutely gorgeous and are very long lasting. It took me a while to get used to the Matte effect as I usually got for a lipstick with a bit of shine. However, once I tried them a few times, I was hooked. 

The pigmentation in them is brilliant but can be a bit of a shock at first, if you're not used to a strong colour. Playing around, I found that with a lighter hand, you can get a less strong look. I'll definitely be picking up more lippies from NYX along with some other beauties.

Clarins Autumn/Winter 2014 Ombre Minerale Eyeshadow

If there is one brand that continues to pull at my heart strings with new collections it is Clarins. This Autumn/Winter is no different with their "Ladylike" collection. I was sent a couple of bits to try from the collection including a gorgeous eyeshadow palette (number 13 if you're looking on counter for it)

On opening, I see that all four eyeshadows are neutral browns. This makes me happy as I am a sucker for neutrals and with the selection given you can rock a pretty sexy smokey eye. 

I'm really liking this offering, so far I have used it twice but I can see it becoming one I return to a lot. I also really like the way Clarins put a suggestion on how to use the shades on the back of each box.

The eyeshadow palettes retails at €41 and will be available with the rest of the collection from mid august at your local Clarins Counter.
