ManhaTan Competition News

You may remember back in December,  I shares news of a new false tan app called ManhaTan ( http://anitasbeautyspot.blogspot.ie/2013/12/new-beauty-app-manhatan.html) The app is going from strength to strength,  with a couple of updates coming soon.

A little birdie told me today that the four genius transition year girls are running a competition where anyone who downloads the app between now and sunday will be entered into a draw to win a whole years supply of Sally Hansen tan.

To enter all you need to do is download the app and tweet the girls (@manhatanapp) saying you've downloaded the app and they will get in touch with the lucky winner. 

The app is available for free on I Phone/ I Pad but the girls are hoping to launch on android soon

Hi All

Hi lovelies, just a quick update, Last week myself and hubby found out our rent is going up a massive amount so we are left in the horrible position of trying to find somewhere new to live. 

We are not sure where we are heading yet, the rent in Dublin is just insane. We have been in our current house for almost three years and had no need to look at rental prices. I was and still am shocked at what landlords are looking for.

We have seen a few houses,  none have screamed "Take me" I'm finding the whole process very stressful and am panicking that we wont find something.

I know we probably will but the fear we wont is very real. Hopefully something will turn up soon. I'm hoping to get a few posts up over the week but things may continue to be a bit quiet until we get sorted

See You Later 2013

2013 has been a year that has gone really fast. I could sit here and tell you it was a great year for me personally but I can't. Don't get me wrong it was great to get a holiday this year, spend time with friends and family and fellow blogger. I even launched my own nail polish line. All brilliant things.

2013 has been a tough year though, a few days into the year we got news that would change our lives forever. I never mentioned it on here but a few close people knew what happened. My husband lost a sister,I lost a friend and my beautiful baby boy lost his auntie and godmother. 

There have been times I have just wanted to hide in a corner and ball my eyes out but keeping focused on the little man and on the good times got me out of those tough times. If it wasn't for a few people I really don't think I would still be blogging and I definitely would have had a much harder time (if that is even possible) To those people I want to say a massive thank you, you don't know how much it meant to me.

I also want to thank all my readers for continuing the read the blog, I know things have been relatively quiet lately. This is thanks to technology for letting me down but also recently I have been finding it really tough. As the year is coming up, I find myself really sad.

Life has changed but I am looking at 2014 with a positive outlook and focusing on happy memories.
