The Nima Mitt-Say Goodbye to Your Cleanser

I'm always on the lookout for alternatives to traditional cream cleansers, often opting for cleansing water or something like Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I would never have thought of a mitt that you could use with just water to thoroughly cleanse my skin.

However, that's exactly what I'm going to share with you. I was first introduced to the Nima Mitt at the Christmas blogger meetup. Niamh from Nima Brush attended to show us her gorgeous range of brushes and the innovative Nima Mitt. As Niamh, described the mitt, I got really excited by it and knew I wanted to try it. That day came this week when one arrived in my postbox.

The Nima Mitt is made up of teeny microfibres that are woven together. When dampened and massaged over the face, they break up the bound that locks makeup onto the skin. The mitt gently removes dead skin cells and makeup while also lightly exfoliating. No matter what skin type you are, (even sensitive skin) this mitt is sure to be a holy grail product.

I've been using the mitt for a week now and really like it. It is super soft and not harsh on my face at all. Every time I use it, my skin is left glowing, I have tried it in the morning where I am bare faced and in the evening to remove a full makeup. I was delighted to see that it handled brilliantly with a full makeup. To be thorough, I went over my face with some cleansing water and saw that the mitt had pretty much taken every bit of makeup off.

To clean the mitt, you need to use regular block soap and water to rinse away any residue. Then hang it by the loop to dry, Niamh recommends you don't use a washing machine as the chemicals present and the roughness of the machine can damage the microfibres.

This lovely can be found over at Nima Brush for €12.95 and will last along time once it is taken care of properly.
