Oodles Of Noodles

A food post today. A few weeks ago, I received another lovely package from the folks over at Eat Water Pasta. You may remember I have posted about them previously

Since that post, I have regularly purchased some of the products in my attempt to cut out the carbs. Last week, I had to knock out a quick dinner so decided on Turkey Stir Fry. While cooking that I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to try out the Eat Water Noodles.

Okay, they may not look very appetising but they actually don't taste too bad and like cous cous they taster better when mixed in with a sauce.

Here they are mixed in with my stirfry

*Apologies for the rubbish pic, I was snapping away with the mobile phone rather than camera*

The Eat Water range can be found in good health food stores, chemists, In Health as well as EatWater.ie They retail for €2.99 a pack which serves 1-2 people.

Willow and Clo Sound Waves

During the week, I received an email from the Irish jewellery brand Willow and Clo. They are currently running a blogger competition where the winner can choose their favourite piece from the Sound Wave collection.

I love the idea of the sound wave collection as the pieces contain words and sayings imprinted as sound waves.

To enter the competition, I have created this mood board with three of my favourite pieces. I have also included a phrase I have been using quite this year. "Love is everything"

Having had a pretty rotten start to the year, this phrase has been great comfort to me and has shown me how important love is.

What do you think of the pieces I have used?

Bepanthen Baby Moisturiser

As I have shared before, my little man has a tiny touch of eczema. So I am always on the lookout for creams that are kind to his sensitive skin.I usually use La Roche Posay Lipikar range including the lait. I'm a fiend for the lait and end using it more on myself than himself. Luckily, Bepanthen sent me their baby moisturiser to try. I've previously used the nappy care ointment, which is a definite HG.

What I really like about this moisturiser is that it contains no parabens, fragrance, alcohol, colouring or any other nasties. I also like the fact that it is suitable for newborns. This is something that is really important to me because most brands e.g. Johnsons are not suitable for tiny babies.

We got on like a house on fire with this. The moisturiser is very light, almost fluid like and sinks into skin very quickly. It's a big hit with the little man who has know taken to helping me put it on his arms and legs. I did try get a picture with him applying it but little man wouldn't have any of it.

You can pick Bepanthen Baby Moisturiser up in all good pharmacies for a very reasonable €7.49

Have you tried anything from the Bepanthen range?
