N.O.T.W Tanya Burr and Precious Polish

Its no secret that I am obsessed with nail polish. Between my own line and several others I have far too many.

I recently received a sample of the new Tanya Burr (top beauty guru) nail polish in a shade called Little Duck. There are ten polishes in the collection, all look lovely but Little Duck called to me.I thought it would go perfectly with Black Magic glitter topper from my Precious Polish collection.  I was right and really love the finished manicure.

Little Duck is such a lovely pastel, I'm feeling it big time. The polish itself glided on effortlessly and took two coats. It did get a little messy looking, but that was purely my impatient streak.

You can pick this lovely shade and the rest of the nail and lip collection from Cloud10Beauty.  (Cloud10Beauty are the only Irish stockist of the collection)
The nail polishes are €7.50 and the lip glosses are €8.50. Next on my list is some of the glosses.

Will you be checking Little Duck out?

Pari Beauty Mineral Perfection

This year is seeing a lot of great new brands land on our shores. Pari Beauty is a Canadian brand newly launched in Ireland with thanks to Rachel Murphy (a top makeup artist). Everything in the range is made with minerals and skin enhancing ingredients.

I received a Mineral Perfection foundation in the post a few weeks ago and  was immediately impressed with this compact.

I have to admit, on first blush i thought the a shade (Light Nude) might be a teeny bit yellow for me but on application in blended seamlessly with my jaw line. The compact is a cream to powder formula and features two anti aging ingredients that help fine lines and reduce the depth of wrinkles.

I've never been a huge fan of compacts bar one. I love the idea of them but more often then not I find they slide off my face even when I use powder over it. This lovely was different though, it blended well and after application it lasted all day. The coverage is medium but it was easy to build it to a fuller coverage. My skin had a lovely glow to it aswell. It definitely made me rethink compacts.

Mineral Perfection retails at €33 and is available on the Rachel Murphy website but there are stockists around the country coming soon.

Have you ever heard of Pari Beauty? or would you give them a try?

Lisa Heeney Mandarin Lipbalm

I love discovering small Irish beauty businesses and recently came across Lisa Heeney body care products during #swapbiz on twitter. After chatting to Lisa for a while, she kindly offered to send out some products for me to try and review. I received a mmm... mandarin natural lip balm and lotion bar. Today I'm reviewing the mandarin lip balm.

The lip balm contains all natural ingredients including beeswax, organic cocoa butter, organic olive oil and  mandarin essential oil. I've never really used a natural lip balm before, often opting for something like Cicaplast Lips but I really like this little lovely. The mandarin taste is lovely, the balm itself isn't greasy and doesn't sit on your lips. I also love that its in a twist tube. All this for €4.50! Brilliant pricing. There is also a mint lip balm and grapefruit & fragonia.

I've had a browse on Lisa's website and considering everything is made with natural ingredients, they products are extremely purse friendly

Have you ever tried anything from the range?

**#Swapbiz is a brilliant idea where businesses can connect to swap their goods. It takes places on Thursdays at 9 so be sure to stop in on it. **
