MUA Dusk Til Dawn Eyeshadow Palette

Nothing beats a nice eyeshadow palette especially one from a brand like MUA. On a trip to London a few months ago, my bestie bought me a sneaky present of the MUA Dusk Til Dawn Palette. I was thrilled because in general I love the pigment in their shadows.

As you can see, this lovely has been used quite a bit. I love how versatile it is. If I feel like a barely there eye makeup look or full blown night time, I have the option for both. The only colour in the palette, I'm not totally sold on is the first one on the bottom row. It's pretty but not very pigmented. My favs are the pale beige on the top row, greeny colour and navy. I'm really surprised about the green because I never ever go for bright colours on my eyes.

On the whole it's a gorgeous palette, I just wish MUA put the names of the eyeshadows on the back. So far this is my fourth palette from MUA and wont be the last.

Catrice All Matt Plus Foundation

I'm a fussy girl when it comes to foundation. I demand an awful lot - medium/full coverage, long lasting and not drying on the skin are my top three things though. I am an avid fan of two foundations, Lancome Teinte Idole Ultra and Vichy Dermablend. It's pure unadulterate love with the both of them., The only teeny issue I have with Teinte Idole is I find the fragrance a tad overpowering, other than that it's a winner.

In recent months, I've tried spending less on makeup and wanted to try a budget foundation. Enter Catrice All Matt Plus Foundation (RRP €6.99) in 010 Light Beige. I've read a good few reviews on it and thought it could be the answer to my prayers.

Before, I even applied it on my face, I immediately liked the texture. On application, I feel deeper under it's spell. The foundation is medium coverage but buildable.I choose the lightest shade and had worries that it wouldn't be a good match once I took it home. Luckily the shade is perfect for me.

Blends perfectly with my skintone

It completely covers any skin issues I have from spots to redness and everything else. The foundation isn't drying and I find the application lasts all day without powder. Yup, without powder. I was blown away after the first time I used it. The makeup didn't budge all day until I removed it before bed.

The foundation in action

I think this could be my new Holy Grail foundation and I'm almost 99% sure I prefer it to my Lancome Teint Idole. A very bold claim but I'm pretty sure I do and it's much cheaper too. I'm definitely going to pick up a shade to go with my Cocoa Brown tan.
