MAC Syrup Lipstick Review

I couldn't put off sharing my beautiful new MAC lip pie Syrup any longer. I am just completely in love with it.

Syrup is from the Lustre range of lipstick and is the perfect everyday lippie that can be worn during the day or evening. It is a muted mauve with a hint of pink. A very natural lip colour and completely addictive. For me, it's a my lips but better shade. I wear it constantly now. I find it's not too drying on the lips and lasts well thanks to the pigmentation. I have also got rakes of compliments on the colour.

I picked it up for €16.60 in The Loop so saved a bit off the €19.50 price tag in Brown Thomas. Syrup has reignited my love for MAC Lippies so I definitely see myself repurchasing Syrup and maybe a few others.

Have you tried Syrup or any other MAC lippie shades?

Forever Living Eczema Tips

Having tried the vast majority of products on the market for Eczema for my 6 month old daughter I was asked to try Forever Living Products Aloe Hand and Face liquid soap and Aloe Propolis cream by a friend and I said sure why not.

The soap is gentle enough to use on sensitive skin and has a mild and non-irritating formula that can be used to cleanse the face, hands and body on a daily basis.
€14.24

Aloe Propolis Creme contains stabilised Aloe Vera Gel and Bee Propolis, Chamomile, Vitamins A and E all recognised for their natural skin-conditioning properties.

€19.68

From first use of the soap and cream together  it brought relief from the intense  itching and my daughter was more comfortable and had less intense flare ups.  My daughter is now 4 and I dont use any other products on her skin.
If you are not getting the results you want from other skin care products then I would highly reccomend you try these.

Have you tried these products already? Then please feel free to provide feedback.

UK Beauty Haul

A tiny beauty haul for today. Sadly on arrival in Superdrug, a lot of what I wanted from the MUA stand was out of stock and there was no Makeup Revolution stand in sight. This made me sad, I was really looking forward to picking up some bits from both stands but unfortunately it wasn't to be.

Before I even stepped foot on the plane from Dublin we were hit with the after effects of the two Ryan Air planes bumping into each other. This meant an hour delay, so naturally I did what any one would do in my position, I popped into MAC. I had very little euros on me but treated myself to a lippie by the name of Syrup. It had been recommended by several people and when I swatched it, I knew it was destined to be mine. It cost €16.60 versus €19.50  in Brown Thomas. It's probably not a bad thing I only had a few euros because I would have happily spent a fortune.

While I was left disappointed from my Superdrug trip, I did pick up MUA Undress Me To Palette and their Makeup Fixing Spray.

In Gatwick airport, I attempted Boots to see if I could locate a Sleek Stand but it wasn't to be. I did however pick up Sanctuary Therapist's Secret Facial Oil  as a treat for my skin. This cost around€19.50 when converted from sterling and on the Boots website it is €25.99 (massive price difference!!)

I plan on giving each of these lovelies there own blog post over the next few weeks so keep your eyes peeled.
