Getting Lippy With NYX

I've always been a fan of NYX but it was tricky to get here. I resorted to buying online but thankfully this is a thing of the past with the arrival of NYX stands popping up in local pharmacies and stores.
A while back,  I was sent a few products to try out.  Today I'm talking about their Matte lipsticks.

These are the two beauties I received and immediately I fell for their pigmentation.

Perfect Red
Tea Rose

Check out that pigmentation!!
Both shades are absolutely gorgeous and are very long lasting. It took me a while to get used to the Matte effect as I usually got for a lipstick with a bit of shine. However, once I tried them a few times, I was hooked.

The pigmentation in them is brilliant but can be a bit of a shock at first, if you're not used to a strong colour. Playing around, I found that with a lighter hand, you can get a less strong look. I'll definitely be picking up more lippies from NYX along with some other beauties.

Have you tried anything from the NYX range yet?

  1. I really want to try the matte lipsticks from NYX but I have very dry lips and they'll probably dry the hell out of them! That red colour is soooo tempting though :P

    1. Mattes are usually a nightmare on me too but I don't find these ones overly drying.
